Comparison
AudioReel vs Adobe Podcast (Enhance Speech)
Updated November 2026
What Adobe Podcast does best. Enhance Speech is one of the best voice enhancers available: it can make a phone recording in a noisy room sound close to a studio mic. There is a free tier. Adobe stopped selling Podcast Premium as a standalone plan to new users at the end of August 2026; new customers get them with the Firefly Pro plan. Firefly Pro also includes AI generated sound effects and soundtracks, but you create and place them yourself. If all you need is a cleaner voice, it's a great choice.
What it doesn't do. It works on speech. It doesn't edit your music to the cuts, doesn't place sound effects or ambiences for you, and doesn't deliver a finished mix of voice, music and effects for your video.
What AudioReel does. Voice cleaning is one of four steps. AudioReel also edits the music to your edit (or picks a track from its library), adds sound design on what happens on screen and delivers a finished mix at platform loudness, as a WAV and an MP4.
